Ozempic

Ozempic (semaglutide) is a once-weekly injectable GLP-1 receptor agonist used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes, reduce major adverse cardiovascular events in those with established cardiovascular disease, and reduce risks of worsening kidney disease, end-stage kidney disease, and cardiovascular death in those with chronic kidney disease.[1][2][4]
